August 2 — Amid the roar of heavy cranes, the first batch of 10 pipe rack modules for the Ridley Island Energy Export Facility Project (REEF) in Canada, constructed by CXHI, were successfully loaded onto vessels at Taixing Port and set sail for Prince Rupert, British Columbia, Canada. This marks the official commencement of the delivery phase for this transnational engineering milestone.
01 Powering the Future of Energy
Located on Ridley Island in Prince Rupert, the REEF project spans 190 acres with a total investment of approximately CAD 3 billion. The project is being developed in two phases with the goal of establishing the largest LPG and low-carbon energy export hub on the West Coast of North America. It is expected to be operational by 2026, with an annual export capacity exceeding 12 million metric tons, supporting the global transition to sustainable energy.
02 Starting with Full Commitment
To ensure the successful delivery of the REEF modules, CXHI adopted a “all-in from the start” approach, coordinating all aspects of project execution with unwavering determination. All departments worked in close collaboration, with the production workshops implementing strict standards for key processes and establishing a standardized operational system covering construction techniques and quality inspection, ensuring overall project integrity.
03 Bridging “Made in China” with “Global Standards”
The delivered modular equipment showcases CXHI’s capability in executing complex international projects. The largest single module weighs nearly 80 metric tons, and all components comply with international standards, including:
-
Structural steel systems use materials conforming to ASTM standards, fabricated and inspected per CSA W59, CSA W47.1, and CSA S16.
-
Piping systems use ASTM materials, manufactured and accepted in accordance with ASME B31.3.
-
Electrical systems use CSA/CUL-certified materials, installed and inspected per CSA standards.
From material traceability to millimeter-level assembly precision, CXHI has seamlessly integrated “Made in China” with global engineering standards.
With the successful shipment of the first batch, the REEF project has now entered the large-scale integration phase. Once completed, this forward-looking energy hub will reshape clean energy trade between North America and Asia, injecting new momentum into the global low-carbon economy.
The REEF project also represents a critical step in CXHI’s global strategy. Moving forward, we will continue to deepen technical collaboration and market synergy with international partners, focusing on quality and reliability to deliver even more efficient “Chenxin Solutions” for worldwide energy infrastructure.
